Nature offers you silence, at night the light is provided by traditional lanterns and candles, you will prepare your food over an open fire, the sauna is wood heated and your hut is heated by a sparkling fire in the stove. Moreover, you may enjoy a walk along the nature trail or participate in a guided tour about traditional charcoal making. The Charcoal Man and his wife will perform a role play for you about charcoal making in a stack and the importance it once played in the development of Finland.

Look no further; our Charcoal Village is the perfect place for you. We have no electricity, and you will be able to relax from social media and daily stress. Nature offers you silence, at night the light is provided by traditional lanterns and candles, you will prepare your food over an open fire, the sauna is wood heated and your hut is heated by a sparkling fire in the stove. You may also bring your own tent. We just have to look up a level place for you to put up your tent.
On a day trip, you may book a guided tour with the Charcoal Man and his wife who will perform role play for you about charcoal making in a stack and the importance it once played in the development of Finland. A walk along the child-friendly themed nature trail and a barbecue at the open camp fire is also an enjoyable experience.
